It combines the visual richness of a software development kit with the user-friendly features of a browser, enabling broadcasters to easily create sophisticated interactive experiences that viewers expect.

- Online infrastructure
Sky Interactive operates a fully integrated return path network that allows the set-top box to send and retrieve data from a broadcaster’s own application server
- Authentication services
All calls made from the set-top box that use Sky Interactive’s online infrastructure are authenticated using an authentication server operated by SSSL
- Online communication module (OCM)
Broadcasters who have developed applications in association with third-party developers can make use of an OCM in order to integrate with Sky Interactive’s online infrastructure
- WTVML microbrowser
Sky Interactive can license the microbrowser to enable the easy creation of multiple enhanced and interactive applications
- Automatic broadcast build tool
Sky Interactive provides an end-to-end update service, enabling broadcasters to update broadcast content either dynamically or on a more seasonal basis
- Interactive service menu
Sky Interactive supports a dynamic channel home page, which enables broadcasters to schedule enhanced TV applications and online services throughout the day using a simple web-based tool
- Design and development consultancy
